Information and communications technology (ICT) is changing the ways in which knowledge is being collected, processed, stored, presented and transmitted. As a result, innovations in technology have changed the demands and expectations in the educational system. The expansion of the Internet has helped to address the user’s need to access information and different services from all over the world at any time from anywhere. During the next years the network will become more universal and the increasing availability of interactive resources, distributed databases and information will systematically challenge the social life, and particularly the global education and training markets.
